Okaloosa’s Pipeline Repair and Road Closures

Residents of Okaloosa County, the City would like to inform you of pipeline repair going on in your neighborhood. The Road Division will be replacing storm water pipes at 3008 Bob White Drive and no through traffic will be permitted on Bob White Drive beginning today September 30th for approximately 3 weeks.  Anyone needing to access a Bob White Drive residence north of this closure should use the east entrance into Quail Run Subdivision (Quail Hollow Road) then turn back south from the north end of Bob White Drive.  The Water and Sewer Department has also implemented a plan for a rate change.  Okaloosa County Water and Sewer will have a 3.75% rate increase take effect on October 1. The rate increase is part of an approved Five-Year Rate Plan enacted by the Board of County Commissioners in September of 2011. Water and sewer fixed rates vary based on the size of the meter and the total usage.
